About Me

Hello, I'm Munir! A fourth-year university student enrolled in the Honours Computer Science Co-op program at McMaster University. I’ve always had a passion for computers, which made pursuing a career in computer science a natural choice. I am currently completing a 12-month co-op as a Software Analyst Intern at Hitachi Rail, and am excited to learn, grow, and contribute within a global organization that’s shaping the future of transportation.

Software Analyst Intern

Designed and built a scalable Playwright-based automated regression testing framework from the ground up alongside a fellow intern, enabling automated front-end testing of an automatic train supervision (ATS) system.
Developed and maintained 75+ automated test cases covering both application functionality and business requirements, improving test coverage and reliability.
Integrated the testing framework with Jenkins to automatically build the software, execute test suites, and generate a detailed test report with requirements traceability.
Contributed directly to the ATS software by fixing defects and supporting migration from older dependencies to newer ones, while gaining hands-on experience with JavaScript libraries such as PixiJS and StencilJS.
